Catalyst Release Logic Processing Tool

Fiona Blake   17 Nov 2006 17:49 GMTPage rating:

Catalyst today announced the release of its first application software, a logic processing software tool. LogicGem is designed to provide a familiar, easy-to-use way to create, edit, verify and compile logic for programmers and non-programmers alike.

With LogicGem, team leaders can design the project, confer with the client, make adjustments, and finalize the design, all before any code is written.

LogicGem also provides the means to prototype and expand a high-level procedural concept into a spreadsheet like table, work it through analysis and design phases, and then generate English, French, German or Spanish language documentation and/or source code for Basic, C, C++, Fortran, FoxPro, Java, Pascal, PowerBuilder, SAS, Visual Basic, Visual Basic.NET, Visual C#.NET, or Xbase.

Other features:

-Build a visual representation of Business Rules
-Automatically find all missing and contradictory rules
-Program very complex logic constructs, without logic errors
-Automatically build all rules for defined conditions
-Validate the completeness of the logic in an Embedded System before it ships
-Easily create documentation for program logic
-Create a software testing suite knowing it is 100% complete
-Verify, compile and document procedural logic or processes

A single developer license for LogicGem is $295 USD.
