Altsoft Xml2PDF version 2.5

Altsoft has released version 2.5 of their Xml2PDF formatting engine. Features in this release include a fix for a critical memory bug, support for CMYK, Gray, and spot colors, and improved support for JPEG and WMF graphics.

The major features of the new version include:

- The fix of the critical bug in memory management that considerably improves memory usage and efficiency of Xml2PDF API and Hotfolder editions;

- Support for CMYK, Gray and spot colors in SVG;

- Improved support for JPEG and WMF (EMF) external graphics;

- Support for internal image resolution (if this data is available);

- Performance tuning.

In addition, the support for WordML and XHTML (+CSS) transformations into XSL-FO is included into Xml2PDF API edition now. This functionality is also freely available for evaluation in Xml2PDF Workstation edition (including evaluation version).
