Is there a possibility to (re)configure EIF during application runtime/
application startup, e.g. by explicitely loading a (new)
enterpriseinstrumentation.config file?

I have installed the EIF on a Winndows 2000 Server SP4 with .Net FW Ver 1.1
Service Does not staart and I get the Following error in Application log.
Event Type:    Error
Event Source:    Windows Trace Session Manager

We have isolated a problem down on installing EIF on Windows 2000 systems to
those that have currently or have had Crystal Reports 8.0 installed. It
produces the following two entries in the EventLog. Has anyone run into this
problem before? Any ideas as to what may be the problem?

I am trying to InstallUtil.exe an assembly I have created.  I cannot

I am using a web app and am having trouble creating ei.config using
the installutil.exe.  I used the examples to create the console app

I know that vs .net 2005 is almost out, but I'm still trying to do my mcsd
and I need your help.  On amazon.com there's a version of vs .net 2003
called the "special edition".  How much different is it from the original?

I am trying to create Serviced .Net Component in VB.Net.
I cannot reference System.EnterpriseServices.
What should I do ? I usinng VS.NET
