Can some one please post the URL for EIF hands-on lab
manual. I heard about it and work like to work on the
examples it provides.

i installed the updated version of of the .net sdk 1.1.
however, when i view the about screen in Visual
Studio .NET 2002, it still states the version of
Microsoft.NET is 1.0XXX.

When a event sink writes event information to a datastore (event log, trace
log, wmi) is the output format of the event's information controlled by the

The trace manager windows service configuration includes an attribute called
"logFileMode" that basically defines what happens when the log file size
grows up to maximum file size.  Both the available options (i.e., logging

f/w 1.1?  EIF runs on 1.0 so is there some way we can make the logging block
work on 1.0?

We recently upgraded out web server to use 1.1 Framework. We use the Crystal
Webview control embedded on an ASPX page. All worked fine.

application server)?  Seemed to work for me except for JSP
redirect/forwarding.  Any comments?
