I have problem in opening a project in VSS. I get this error message saying

I've set the On Edit dropdown box under Checked-In Item Behavior in
the Source Control environment settings to Prompt For Checkout.

I have deleted a team project that I was to recreate with the same name.
I need to do this because the local folder the files were being placed in is
the original base folder and I wanted to use a different folder for this

When checking in on some files I get the message "Have any conflicts in
filename been properly resolved?" - Is there some way to have an option for
it to show me my version vs the version on the server and how VSS will merge
