Guys I understand VSS as well as I undersand ancient Greek, In both cases I've never used it, never had need to use it, the only difference is I know have been thrown into the deep end and asked to migrate it to a new server as the current server is near over flowing

We have a problem with our VSS database, some time ago, out of nowehre, two shares of our main project appeared in its subfolders. Nobody created the shares (only 3 developers work on this project and none of them, me notwithstanding, even knew about what sharing in VSS

My client is looking for a migration from ClearCase to VSS 6. Can anybody tell me how long MS will support the VSS 6? Is there any tool available to migrate the whole ClearCase database to VSS 6? What should be the best migration strategy, tool, futuristic idea etc.
