When I tried to install Visual Source Safe installation problem on
Windows 2003 server, "Microsoft Visual SourceSafe 2005 - ENU has

Guys I understand VSS as well as I undersand ancient Greek, In both
cases I've never used it, never had need to use it, the only
difference is I know have been thrown into the deep end and asked to
migrate it to a new server as the current server is near over flowing

I'm trying to implement source control for VS 2003.  So far I do not
see any options for checking in/out files or anything to do with
source control (VSS, CVS, nothing).  I installed SourceSafe 2005, but
it is not integrating with it.  My registry variables are:

My client is looking for a migration from ClearCase to VSS 6. Can anybody
tell me how long MS will support the VSS 6?
Is there any tool available to migrate the whole ClearCase database to VSS 6?
