I'm using Visual SourceSafe 6.0, and I was wondering if there is an
easy way to download all the files in a directory and their history.
I don't have Admin privileges, but I want a simple way to back up a
large directory and its history.
Upgrading from VSS6.0d to VSS8.006 Jun 2007 11:31 GMT3
What are the steps involved in upgrading a VSS database from 6.0d to 8.0?
I have a number of VSS6.0d databases (the code goes back around 6 years or
so), and while the latest version of all the files is what I want, it would
be nice not to lose the history of changes.

I've enabled remote access for one of my VSS 2005 databases, and now I need
to start using it. However, I can't find any documentation that tells me how
to access this database remotely. What must the client do to access a
database remotely?
