I just installed VS2005 on our server that has IIS running and can be
accessed from the outside world.  How, then, do I create a database that can
be accessed from the outside world?  Does the database need to be stored
under the C:\Inetpub\Wwwroot folder?  Are there other ...

I'm working on a project with a developer who has a slow and unreliable

good way of merging them in.  What I would like to be able to do ...

Is there a way to configure Visual SourceSafe 2005 to force the user to

We have a number of developers and some of them "forget" to enter a
change comment when checking in a file, or creating a new file.
How to Switch between Source Control Providers for a Single Solution in VS 200518 May 2007 15:46 GMT3
We are having a problem since we migrated our solution to VS 2005.  A number
of our team work both in the  office and remotely at different times
(telecommuting).  In VS 2003.Net, before we opened our solution (about 30
projects), we would change the default SCC provider to a 3rd ...

In VSS 2005, I have set the option to open Show Differences dialog.  However,
it does not display, even when using Shift key when running Show Differences.
Is this a bug or is there something I've missed?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks!

History Inconsistency15 May 2007 07:03 GMT1
I checked in a file inadvertently after changing the system time to a
previous date.  So when I view History on that file, the dates are
(obviously) inconsistent...the top-most file in the history shows a date that
is earlier than the one right below it.

Is this possible to do in 2005.. is there a way to auto disconnect any

manually disconnect the users or remove the share and recreate it?
