Hi; We MSDN Professional subscription, but we did not get VSS 2005, we are using VS 2005 Professional, we want to upgrade VSS6.0 to VSS2005, do we need to buy VS Team System, or can we buy VSS2005 seperately?

I've just installed Sourcesafe 2005 and seem to be having problems.. I opened an existing solution in Visual Studio 2003 and selected 'Add Solution To Source Control' - this seemed to work fine, and check in/check out is working okay. However when I go to 'view history'

Maybe I'm missing something or my expectation is just incorrect but when I heard that there was a source safe web service with 2005 I thought this is great, I can access my source safe database remotely over http/s.

Duh, these commands break long lines at column 88. No way to take the output and copy it into another program wihtout a lot of unnecessary editing. Toby

I have a solution with several projects. I use Visual Studio 2005 to check in/check out of Visual Source Safe. I received updated files for one of the projects (fron an off-site consultant). I simply copied the files into the proper project directory.
