I get the "File or project not found" error. When I investigate and run analyze and fix, the file it cannot seem to locate is the version.dat file. The utility thinks it is under a folder one level higher than the data folder. It is really under the data folder.

| Problem with modifications outside of checkout (VS2003, VSS2005) | 20 Jan 2006 07:42 GMT | 1 |
I can't figure this out. We have an asp.net site, added to source control, and installation and checkouts and all that. It appears to be working so I am hoping this is a configuration issue. Visual Studio .net 2003 - VSS 2005 (I first tried 6.0d, same problem).

| Bug in VSS2005? | 19 Jan 2006 12:42 GMT | 1 |
I think I've found a bug in VSS2005: 1) Be sure that "Use read-only flag for files that are not checked out" option is enabled. 2) Choose a file from your SourceSafe project.

We've been using the ssauto.h interface to interface with VSS in our own tools. There were a few hiccups when we updated to the 2005 beta, but everything got massaged back into working. However, since installing the release VS2005 (and the latest VSS), this same tool now gets ...
