Hello group,
               My company has just started using VSS and I have been
designated as the "build" manager for our .Net shop. My boss has asked me to
look into VSS training. Can anyone recommend a training solution?

Can I setup a VSS database on a machine that allows users check in/out
projects on the Internet?

I am using VSS 6.0. Whenever i login through VSS admin. i am getting the
error message like " Invalid sysntax on line 33 of file \\VSS path
\users\admin\ssadmin.ini.
When i click ok  then it is prompting " Too many SS.ini environments

When I want to add a file to the Setup project, the VS.Net IDE
complains that the vdproj file is not checked out.
So I got to check it out and rather than check out just the setup
project vdproj file, it also checks out every single other file in the

I received a call from an engineer this morning and I do not have a clue as
to what happened to his files.  There are three directories with several
files in each directory (*.c, *.h, *.bat files).  I can view any of the files
and the content is the same.  Any ideas.
