I have a VB6 project with 250 files or so. VSS functions run slow, as it
appears to refresh the file list at any opportunity.
Is there a way to prevent a full refresh of the file list when just checking
a single file in/out?

We are using VSS6.0 in our project for version controlling since year
2001. We usually check out files to working folder to the client
machine and while check in it will over-write the file in the project
