i have file Test_v0.6.doc created.  Then i was introduced to sourcesafe.  
After i added the file to source safe, when i show history, it was version 1.
Thus, pls advise, is there a way, whereby i can change it to version 6.

I have a problem with my database.  I have some history in one vss folder and
some other history in another.
The projects/files were not branched at any stage, problem seems to have

Have VSS and Visual Basic 6 integrated, but now everytime I open a project in
Visual Basic, get the message "Failed to update project location information
in the host application" - and the microsoft help file is definitely lacking
in this area.

We are using VSS 6 but we have to manually enter the version number and
comment every time we make a change(checkout) to a file.
As far as I know the VSS should take care of the version number and we

clients. Whenever any change/customization is made in client folder I
require to branch that file automatically.
Is there any way to handle such situation in vss ?
