I'm current putting a standard way to use vss in our company.
one of my friends told me that using multiple checkout may cause you some
problems with sourcesafe, but i see it is very important feature to apply!

I've got a file stored in VSS named ".project".  When I pull up its
history in the VSS Explorer, the details of the most recent item
shows:

We lost network connectivity while adding new files to a project, this has
caused us to receive the following error when accessing the project:
File "g:\projects\vss cs dev\data\b\brlaaaaa.a" not found
