When I click on a .bat file and choose edit in SourceSafe it runs the .bat file instead of opening up an editing window.
The ss.ini file looks correct.

I've got a fairly sizable VSS repository that I need to create an archive
file for. When I try to do this using the Admin tool, I get a "Invalid access
code (bad parameter)" message after a few hours.
I tried "fixing" things by running analyze.exe (-f switch) but that appeared

1.VSS stores the .doc files in binary format.
If we want to look the different between the diffrent versions of this file VSS states that "BINARY FILES" differ.

We have a several asp.net solutions that contain multiple projects.
(6-8 projects.) For whatever reason, each solution gets its own copy of
a project on the local disk. (But there's only one copy in SourceSafe.)

I set up 2 users on a machine. They login to the box using terminal
services. When they check out/in files from the VSS, the user column shows
'Administrator' instead of their own IDs. What am I doing wrong?
