According to the MSDN articles, when you use the VersionNumber method
of the VSSItem of a pinned file, you will retrieve the pinned version.
In my testing, this doesn't seem to be the case.  I have included a
code sample below that gives you an idea of what I am trying to do.

 I am trying to get the latest version of a VSS project  thru commanline.The problem is the project name is a two word word (like System Manual).When i write the command system is throwing an error.

What is the difference?
My files are being backed up to the tracker folder but what is the vss\data
folder used for? I've always used VSS and what I've surmised over the
internet is that tracker is for other version control systems when importing
