I had a MS source safe database and have used for long time which have been
integrated with my visual studio VC++ 6.0.
Now the ClearCase was installed my computer, then when I started my visual
studio VC++6.0, then it links to ClearCase automatically, so I cannot work on

My company is looking into a version control system, and of course VSS is a
candidate.  I see that VSS 6 is considered a 'previous version' now, but I
can't find any info on M$'s website that mentions what might be a CURRENT
version of it, nor how to procure it!

Does anyone know how I can get the hotfix described in this knowledge base
article?  This problem is pervasive in our VS.NET 2003 solution, and it's a

When I create a solution from VSS inside of VS.2003 it creates all of the
working folders with their names forced to all upper case.
