I've installed VC++ .NET and then VSS6, chosen the client and integration option on the VSS install but get no source control option or menu within the VC++ .NET IDE.  The docs talk about going to tools:options and the source control folder - there is no mention of source control ...

is there a plan for Microsoft to finally upgrade VSS to current standards,
SourceGear has worked something out to integrate with SQL 2000 what is the
delay from Microsoft, VSS still looks like it did 10 years ago, when should
developers expect a better solution.

Can anyone point me in the direction of an electronic copy of the VSS 6.0 user manual.

I am trying to count how many lines of code are in our SourceSafe database.  Does anyone a have any idea on what I can do.

My team and I are building a VB.NET application.  One member must telecommute and therefore remotely use Source Safe.  Has any set this up before?  Are there any white papers, article on this?
