Annoying auto checkouts in Visual Studio .NET24 Dec 2003 18:02 GMT3
we have got a problem with Visual Studio.NET 2003 and
Visual Source Safe and we are wondering if anyone can shed
some light on the problem.
When I "Build" the solution I aways get prompted to check
VSS and .NET 200324 Dec 2003 14:46 GMT3
I am using VS.NET 2003, and would like to also use Visual
SourceSafe.  I read almost all help topics on VSS but I  
still can not get it activated, the Source Control toolbar
is currently greyed.

I can't get my Enterprise VS 2003 to access my sourcesafe
but on my Visual Interdev 6.0 it works without an issue.
My sourcesafe is on another server and is 6.0a and I can
access it via my box using Sourcesafe 6.0d without issue.

We're trying to use VSS with PowerBuilder 9. We managed to
create a working environment that seems to work correctly,
though we have some serious performance issues.

We are setting up VSS 6.0d to work with multiple .Net
developers. According to the documentation in VSS 6.0d,
in VSS one modifies the .ini file to contain the name of
the project name and set it for multiple checkout.
