I recently installed VSS 6.0 as part of the Visual Studio
6.0 package. I have a mapping to the vss database. When I
log into VSS, I have to point to the srcsafe.ini file on
the vss database server.

Does anyone know how to add a new solution when multiple vss databases
are involved?  I don't know why I can't get this to work but basically
I have a vss database for general multiple use solutions.  I create
the solution (let's call it solGen) in the vss database (dbGen).  Then

I have a project labeled A.2 in VSS, works fine.  
Our build is automated, command line driven.  When we do a get we pass
in a label (i.e. A.2) or nothing, passing in nothing simply gets the
latest.

I must say that although I have used SS for years, I
haven't really had much need to do admin on a database
before...
I have a DB that is around 7gb. Large parts of it are

I think that my DATA folder is corrupted or some fiels are
missing.
When I connect via VSS Explorer, projects list is empty !!
I've checked the following:

Now when we try to label a particular sub project a get 2 error messages.
First:
"file orProject not found"

"File "C\vss2\users" not found"

It is the first time that I see that. It seems that my VSS
(6.0c) doesn't want to let me add files with more than 8

with VS .Net 2003?  I know that 6.0d is the one I "should" use, however for
some reason that I cannot fathom, MS has not made VSS 6.0d generally

I am trying to add recursively a directory tree with a
lots of files with various extensiona in each subdirectory.
The documentation advises to use the directory name
instead of *.*.

Is there any reason I don't want to use FrontPage 2002 extensions?
Side note, when i try to configure extensions for FrontPage 2000, nothing
happens... no dialogs, no errors, just nothing.  IIS 6.0 only lets me
