4400. I used this exact same disk to install to a different machine (a

I've tried numerous times to install Visual Studio 2008 90-Trial, but
continuously fail. Here is the portion of the log that contains the commands
that generated the errors:

Can sometime tell me where the startup executable for visual studio 2008 is
located? I can't seem to find the icon for it and there seem to be a
zillion folders/programs in my Visual Studio 9.0 subdirectory.

I was trying to deploy an application that uses Excel. I have the dll
included in my setup, but I still get an error when running the program.
Does Excel have to be installed on the machine the application is running on?

I could swear I read somewhere that a new feature in VS2008 would allow you
to set the opacity of the intellisense lists, but for the life of me I can't
find any reference to it. Did it get included or was it dropped, or maybe I
was just hearing things...heh heh?

I recently installed Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition and noticed
some of the tools, like WinDiff, OleView, etc, did not get installed. I
have tried to change the installation options through "Add or Remove
Features" but cannot find any option to add the missing tools.
