I have been trying to install Visual Studio 2005 several times but every time I received and error: "Error 1311. Source File not found c:\Visual Studio 2005\VB CD1\_15780_RTL_x86_enu_NETCF_V2.0.CAB. Please help.

When I install VS2005 from the MSDN DVD it triggers a popup saying the the installer cannot find the file dexplore.exe. There is no such file on the DVD?

I have VS2005 Pro installed on Win XP Pro, SP2. When i select Help/Check for Updates, it goes to the Microsoft Update page and says there are no updates to install. Yet, when i look at the VS2005 SP1 page and select this link:

I have a setup/deployment package that I've included SQL Express, .Net Framework 2.0, and MSI installer as pre-requisites. The project is created in Visual Studio 2K5, Professional if that matters. There are several options for SQL Express that I need to handle.

I have just installed Visual Studio 2005 (with all updates) on a fresh install of Windows 2000 (with all updates). Opened up an existing workspace (created with VC6), and tried to compile. Nothing compiles .... lots of C1902 errors.
