We have Visual Studio 2003 and MS Project 2003 installed in some students labs. When running as an administrator, starting MS Project works fine. But when running as a normal user, the following error messages are shown by msiexec when it tries to install some VS.NET

Trying to install VS2005, either from MSDN CDs or from a HD copy of them: at about 50% of "setup is loading installation components" I get a message "A problem has been encountered while loading the setup componentes. Cancelling setup". No other messages.

When I am trying to access the toolbox Visual Studio 2005 Professional I get the message "Initializing toolbox... in the statusbar and the program stops to respond. To exit Visual Studio I have to kill the process from the task manager.

When I installed VS 2005 at work after the install I was prompted to choose which language I mainly coded in and it re-configured the environment accordingly. I have installed at home, and I was not asked this.

I have an installer which I created for my application using VS2005. The installer creates some subkeys in the registry under HKLM\Software. In the installer project, I note that all of the subkeys have a DeleteAtUninstall property set to false.

This is a Whoa bug for me, as in this is seriously the last bug I'd ever thought I'd see. I've installed VS 2005, full. I can create a project (VB2005_Test, but it can be named anything), draw a form, add items to it, save it, etc.

Somehow I dragged and dropped a set of windows out of place in VS .NET 2003. It was on the right where the solution explorer and properties, etc... are. Is there a way to restore the default window layout?? Thanks
