Trying to do a VS.2005 repair, it re-installs "Microsoft Windows
Installer 3.1", re-installs "Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0", then demands
that I reboot.
After reboot, the repair doesn't restart by itself, and if I re-run it

with help running from network drives).
If I try to access help via Index or Contents within VS' IDE, I get blank

I've mistakenly had my D drive converted to ext2fs and it was,

that I try to install VS2005Pro again, it always wants to install on
the D (non-existing windows) partition, and won't uninstall the itself

Using the custom install to install just these 2 I don't get the
spell checker unless I install the entire disk.

I tried to install Visual Studio 6 Pro on my XP SP2 system and got an
