I am a Professional MSDN Subscriber, and have the full Release version of
Visual Studio, with the original integrated Help Library, installed on my
system, which has lots of memory, power, spare disk space, etc.
I just received my May MSDN package, including the May Library update ...

Is this neccesary? I dont have J# installed, but this is in my
add/remove control panel.

It appears all has worked, but then at the last moment, I get an "the
component failed to install".  The error report it generates says:
