I am using Visual Studio .Net 2003 on Windows Server 2003 SP1 to develop a
web application, I seem to be experiencing intermitent problems where I get
an error message saying
Unable to open Web project "MyApp".  The file path

I'm using VS 2005 connecting to a SQL 2000 DB on another server. The SQL is
also running IIS 6 with ASP.NET 2.0
When I test the aspx on my computer, it has no problem getting the
information from the SQL. Doing some research, I found I needed to run

I'm trying to install "Visual Studio Team Edition Software Developers" on a
"Terminal server" in "application server" mode on a Windows 2003 server.
But I get the error "at least one component has an install path set to a
mapped drive. Installing to mapped drives is not supported" ...

Recently I got a new laptop and placed my Visual Studio 2003
project on it.  But when I place my aspx files in design mode
the aspx files don't design right.  I used grid layout (not flow) and
many tables.  But the tables overlap on the new laptop when thet did

I'm setting up a development laptop with Visual Studio 6 (also has VS 2003
and VS 2005).  I've run Vs6sp6.exe and placed the extracted files to a
temporary folder.  I then run setupsp6.exe from that folder and I immediately
receive an error dialog.  It says:

I've been asked to set up a production Team Foundation Server installation.  
I've asked our I.T. department to purchase a copy of TFS, and they are buying
a copy through Volume License.
However, I'm getting pressure to set this up "right away".  MSDN has a

I've spent hundreds of dollars for software that can't be installed because
every installation I attempt is asking for this SKU011.CAB file which has
never, and will never exist!!! I have today, Sunday, budgeted for a VSTO

Setup run on a clean VMWare virtual pc appears to do fine.

I'm rebuilding a development PC. I installed Visual Studio 2005 before
installing SQL 2005. Now, when I click New->Project, Business Intelligence
Projects is not amoung the options.
Any pointers on how to get Business Intelligence Projects to appear under
Beta 2 expires before first use14 May 2006 06:01 GMT1
I installed a Beta 2 of VS 2005 and obtained an activation code. I never got chance to use it tho because when I tried to run the program I got the Beta 2 expired message. What is going on and how can I fix it?
