I installed VS 2005 complete and MSDN complete as I have a large disk and I did not want to see any 'grey-outs'. The final result is that the F1 button loads the MSDN October 2001 belonging to VB6 AND the VS 2005 thinks that I want to program in J# rather than VB.

I have downloaded the MSDN Subscriber Visual Studio Professional, both CD1 and CD2. I have actually downloaded CD2 twice and burned the ISO image to 2 seperate CDs at different speeds. On both installation tries, I get an error reading the file:

I am trying to install VS 2005 and i get the following error. snapshot of the error log file. Note, that the drive in which i am installation has sufficient amount of disk space (about 10GB) .. The installation halts at MS XML 6.0 Parser SDK resulting in to GPF.
