Path names too short in title bar of edit windows  in V6.0 - can this be lengthened?14 Nov 2005 20:16 GMT3
When I am editing multiple files in V6.0, the path
name that is displayed in the title bar is shorted
with ellipses   C:/.../xyz/abc.c
and the problem I have is, with multiple projects,

Before installing VS 2005 I was going to uninstall VS.Net Enterprise
Architect.  When attempting, I receive the error that Setup can not determine
the valid install order.  The result, I can not uninstall the application.

I haven't had any sleep for the last two days since Microsoft had made the
Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005 available for download.  Every time I
try to install them I get an error :1335 and it says about some specific
files are missing Or, the CD/DVD is damaged and the ...

I got lots of file cannot find error. But when I use the same CD to install
in XP , everything works perfectly.The way I install is by running setup.exe
in the root.
I doublt very much if vs2003 can be installed on Win2003.

I have installed VS2005 Pro on a XP64 box and when I try to create a new
project neither the Web Application or WebService project types exist. Does
any one know why this would be or a resolution to get the project types to
exist.

When I click on "View Class Diagram" in the Solution Explorer I get this error:

I get an error that the .net framework 2.0 failed to install. This is
already installed on vista.  It should skip this.  How do I work around

First, this is obviously my fault for having "manually" removed beta VS 2005
in an incorrect order prior to the release of the VS 2005 RTM.
The VS 2005 installer pops up the dialog telling me to remove beta
components. The component list is empty. I have tried reinstalling Beta 2,

I have a Visual Studio Enterprise version 6.0 SP 5 development system that
is used to primarily develop VB 6 and VC++ apps.  It is also used to create

Now opening the properties of a C++ project and getting the error message
