When I load the Prereqs disk for .NET Architect an NVIDIA display driver
screen (in Spanish) pops up and my installation is stopped...here is the
thing:
1. I don't have NVIDIA display drivers (I use ATI, and yes, it is current)

i'm trying to install a copy of VS 2005-beta 2 but the installer give
me an error during files transfer.
I suppose that disk's label is wrong. Can anyone give me the correct

when i try to make a debug to create local project on server i can't create

I have a problem in that after installation of VS2003 I run Check for
updates It boms out telling me I cannot check and I do it again.
MS states we need to load SP1 for VS2003 but only SP1 for VS2002 available

I have just tried to install Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2.0 on a fairly new
Windows XP SP2 PC, and it got through most of the installation OK, but then
just hung when installing the step:

I have installed vs.net 2003  pre-requisites and vs.net 2003 pro on my XP
Pro with SP2 machine. But my web site service can't be started. it says
'unexpected error 0x8ffe2740 occurred'. what can I do to get work?

I have tried the unistall of this product and gotten no where.
Reinstalled per instructions on the screen than it said that it was
removing / uninstalling VS, well that supposedly worked till I got to
looking at the HD and still have VS.Net in the subdirectory of the
Invalid Command-Line arguments. uable to contine08 Oct 2005 22:29 GMT2
I have vsnet 2002 standard installed on my PC - installation was smooth with
no issues.  I am now upgrading to 2003 enterprise but when I launch the
setup file and click "Prerequisites" install I get "Invalid command-line
arguments. unable to continue".

I read several posts that to use the online resources inside VS.NET 2003
(German edition) you need to:
1) Install WSH (which I already did)
2) Install a Hot-fix

When I try to install Visual Studio.Net 2003 (its the downloaded Academic
version), I get this error
saying:
"The Windows Installer Package:
VS.NET 2003 setup- "creating setup scripts" - error07 Oct 2005 04:50 GMT2
if I install vstudio.net 2003 from the msdn-dvd,
the install process starts and during installation the last info-text is
"creating setup scripts".
After this the install process does not go on, it hangs.

I am having a different problem when trying to run setup.  i get the message
"Please go to the Control Panel to install and configure system components".  
it never tells me what system components i need to install.  I got that when
i first started and ended up installing the ...
