I want to install VS.net 2003 with web hosting on WinXP Pro that already has SP2 and updates installed. The prereq instructions are to install SP2 and critical updates AFTER adding Windows components (IIS, FP Server Extensions).

I am using .net 2003. when I edit files with a .for or .f90 extension, the follow keys do not work: arrows, enter, backspace. Is there someway to correct this problem?

WinXP-Pro 512 meg ram 20 gig drive 8 gig free. SP2. I am trying to install or re-install VS2003 it bombs. I am a new employee and took over a former's desktop. That had VS2003, but it didn't work.

I attempted to install VS.NET 2003 and received internal error 25003 and the install failed. This is a laptop that met the prerequisits, OS is XP Pro SP2 with SQL 2000 Developers Edition installed. I could not find an answer on the MS site.

Hi, I am having major problems with Beta 2. My Win XP2 system has VS 6.0 and previously had VS 2005 Beta 1. I uninstalled the Beta 1 in the recommended order, then I installed Beta2 (with the default options) from a DVD created from the MSDN iso image download.

I dloaded an ISO image for Visual Studio .NET 2005 BETA 2 (Standard Edition) and burned this to DVD. I installed Visual Studio .NET 2005 BETA 2 just fine. However, there were NO options for installing any MSDN Libraries.
