My enterprise bought a Visual Studio .NET 2003 Enterprise Developper license, but the Visual SourceSafe CD seems to be VS.NET 2003 Architect version first cd. Is it ok ? I can't find the install program of vss ? thanks

I had to reinstall Visual C++6 on a box with XP SP2. Unfortunately, even after several retries, MSDN context sensitive help doesnt work any more. VC6 complains about a missing component (htmlhelp???). VC++ and MSDN for themselves work ok, but they don't integrate any more.

I have Visual Studio 2003 and did install the complete MSDN online help. But the help pages are very very slow. If I choose one then the statusbar shows "downloading..." for a while, and then finally the page is shown. What is wrong?

After installing SP2 for Win XP, I discovered that I need to have Visual Studio 6 installed on my machine (in addition to VS 2003) so I can work with some legacy VB6 code. When I tried to install VS 6.0, I received the following error:

Can I install just Visual Studio 6.0 on Windows XP? Do I really need BackServer? I am looking for a "basic" solution! I do not need a lot of fancy rigamarole. Please help soonest! There are time limitations involved. Thank you in advance for your ideas.

After installing Visual Studio 2003, it seems like I cannot apply SP6 to Visual Studio 6 ! C++ shows compile problems it should not have. SourceSafe shows bugs that are fixed in later service packs.
