I'm trying to install just the C++ component.  I've tried a number of permutations.  It always fails near the end with the following message in the log:

I'm having a bit of a problem downloading Visual C++ 2005 Express Beta. I've successfully downloaded vcsetup.exe, and run the installer. But whenever it gets to the part where it is supposed to download the selected components, the download fails and the setup program crashes.
