HowTo set Visual Studio 6.0 as the default debugger14 Jun 2004 09:18 GMT1
I have both VS 6.0 and VS .NET installed on my XP machine. I'm trying to debug a crash on my application written in VS 6.0. Whenever my application crashes I'd like it to launch VS 6.0; instead VS .NET is launched.
How do I set this up?

We are installing Visual Studio .NET on a PC-lab with about 50 PCs, and had
hoped we could put MSDN on a central server.
So far, I have not found out how to do this.
I have installed VS.net using Group Policies, but I don't know how to tell

I had installed VS.net first in the pc. I also need to install VS in the
same one. However, when I click setup.exe inVS, the setup was halt. the
message "Setup is searching for installed component" was halt and no further
action.

After searching all CDs that came with the package, I verified that the file
is indeed not their to begin with.
So I can not compile for CLR. I get error C1190 that says:

prefer not to give students administror rights to the local computer.
If I add a student's domain account to the local VS Developer, Debugger and
Power User groups, will there be any negative side effects?

I am running the file (weccom.msi) directly from the CD but it's start

Hi Ng,
I've got a problem with the debugging of a Windows Application. I start the
app in Debug Mode. But when an exception appears, vs.net doesen't jump to
code line where the exception occured. I only get the standard exception
