I have been using an academic trial version of Visual Studio .NET
2002.  I am getting popup messages that I'm only entitled to use this
until Dec 31 2003.  So I bought a full version, installed and
registered it without error.  I am still getting the warning with the

Visual Basic Resource Kit and then the
Component One Enterprise software that came with it.

When I am trying to use any classes (e.g. Dns.GetHostName(); ) from
System.Net namespace, I am getting following errors. It just throws an
exception, and displays the dialog box, break, continue, etc.

Because my C: is pretty full, I installed Visual C++ .NET 2003 on my
E: drive. Now I need to install Visual C# .NET 2003 as well. But the

I wish to build an install (an msi file) for a win2K system.  It must always
be installed for everyone.  How can I force it to be installed for everyone,
or, at least, stop the install if the user selects the "Just Me" button.

Recently I have been unable to use the "Online Resources" tab of the Start
Page in Visual Studio. It displays the message: "This feature requires that

i have a dell latidude D800 with winxp sp1 installed. if i
try to install vs 6.0, the setupprogramm fails immediately
with an error in vs60wiz.exe.
until now, i tried the following:
