We have Visual C# .NET Standard 2003, and we have a
problem with Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 302901.
The first two steps of the step-by-step example are as
follows:

I have the trial version of Visual Studio which I received
at Teched 2003.  After having to reload pc, and reinstall
trial I entered an incorrect cdkey, so when Vs starts it
prompts for a correct serial. Problems:

When I try to install subject library the installation hangs. No indication
of processor or disk activity although task manager shows the application
status as "running". I have Visual Studio .NET 2003 installed and request
integration with that. I had a previous version of MSDN ...

Trying to move from VS .NET 2002 to 2003
Have uninstalled 2002 completely
Have installed the Pre-Requisites * Remote Componenets
(link at bottom of page)

This is urgent ..I need help to sepcify a web site name
during the web setup install process...

Everyone, I got a new laptop and need to install VS.net 2003 on the new laptop, but I cannot find my prerequisite CD for the life of me.  Does anyone know what the prerequisites are so that I can install them manually, and then I can install from the rest of my CDs.

I have installed Visual Stuido .Net 2002 Enterprise
Architect edition.  Ths is on Windows XP professional.
When I start the application, I get a screen saying:
"Preparing to install" and after a while, the message box

Okay, so we just got the upgrade to VS.NET 2003 and are planning to install
it.  Here's what happens...
So I go to add/remove and click Change/Remove which pops up the VS.NET main
setup screen with 1, 2, 3 options.

I've have a problem installing VS2003 EA using the vs_setup.msi file, I've
tried follow MS articles that describes how to deploying MS Visual Studio.

alternating responses of errors and no new service
releases.  Vserrlog2003.txt accompanies the errors, which

I tried installing Visual Studio .NET 2003 from the

I had Visual Studio .NET 2002 installed on
the machine. The .NET 2003 prequsites install succeeded

I am installing vs.net 2003 pro on win2003 standard server
with iis installed.  I am the only user, 'Administrator'
with a blank password.  I want to be able to create
Asp.net apps and test them on my machine.  however

Installation of VS 6.0 on Windows 2000 professional fails
with the message that it can not to register MSADDNDR.DLL.
VS .NET was installed before but I removed it completely.
Any ideas?

I currently have VS .NET 2002 Academic version and want
to upgrade to 2003 Pro Upgrade.  Does anyone know if
the '03 Upgrade will work with '02 Academic version?

I have Visual Studio 2003 already installed on my
machine.  To fix some legacy programs, I need to install
Visual Studio 6.
Is there any problems doing this?
