I'm trying to install VS .Net, particularly the VB elements, but no matter what i select, i get an error at the end of the process simply saying that an error occurred. This happens at the end of Stage 2, Stage 1 works fine. The installlog.txt file contains these lines;

Hello Im trying to install Visual Studio 6.0 Enterprise Edition but I recieve an error message "couldn't find Acme setup" immediately after the cd fails. I have also tried to run setup from manually and I recieve the same error.

I have tried setting up VS.NET. But the window component update reports errors while installing .net framework. I am using Window server 2003 and it is preloaded with .net framework 1.1. How can I solve this problem?

Can I put both vstudios (and frameworks) on the same machine without issue? I'm especially concerned that after i add 2003 to my system, that my 2002 install will behave as it always has.
