Problem in creating ASP.Net Web Apps Project with VS Net - Academic version28 Nov 2003 11:11 GMT1

I'm trying to learn .NET and needed help to resolve this
message when I tried to start a new asp.net web apps
project:
VS install error 2500327 Nov 2003 16:00 GMT1
I try to install Visual Studio and I get an error 25003
all the time.
I checked Microsoft website and followed all the

I first installed VS.NET 2003 final beta on a fresh system.
But then I saw that it isn't usable after June 2003 or so...
