I'm trying to learn .NET and needed help to resolve this
message when I tried to start a new asp.net web apps
project:

I try to install Visual Studio and I get an error 25003
all the time.
I checked Microsoft website and followed all the
procedures for removing renaming, etc to fix the problem

I have VS6 with MSDN Apr. 99 installed on my XP machine.
Everything worked fine untill I installed SP5.
Now, when I try to use VS6 help, I get the message
"Attempting to use an invalide compiled help (.chm) file"

I installed Visual Studio.net when the locale definition
in Windows 2000 Pro was English. Now I changed the locale
definition to Hebrew. I don't want to reinstall a whole

I first installed VS.NET 2003 final beta on a fresh system.
But then I saw that it isn't usable after June 2003 or so...
After uninstalling the 2003 beta version, I can't install
my 2002 final Version :(

I'm installing Visual Studio, and it seems to install
fine, however, towards end it asks me to hit an ok
button, does some stuff, then pops up a "javasign.ddl not
entered into registry, setup failed".

Okay, I'll admit up front it is hard to figure out how I managed to do this
and that it is unusually dumb, but here goes:
