I installed VS .NET 2003 without ant problems. Then I
downloaded MSDN for .NET 2003 ISO images, opened them and
tried to install..

I am trying to update vs.net. I am using the vs.net 2003
DVD. I get the startup screen with the instruction to run
the prerequisites (select option 1). After I do this, the
disk whirrs for a while, then I get this dialog box

I work with VS 6.0. I develop MFC applications with UI and real-time, TAPI
and more. I concider upgrading o VS.NET. Is there a simple path to this?

Has anyone experienced problems when trying to install the
MSDN help for VStudio 6.0 from a DVD either locally from a
DVD-ROM or when copied on from a network share. the

After Installing VS.NET, I 've tryed to run some ASP.NET
samples and quickstart tutorials, but I always get a
Open/Save window, and I haven't got anything with anyone

Is there some one ever faces this problem? And fix it?

I have just received VS 2003, and am in the process of trying to install it.
I already have 2002 but it told me that I needed to install Vis J# Redist,
or that it needed updated so I duly put the Prerequisite disk in and it
started the install, and it is taking hours and hours, and ...

My ASP.net application requires a database install.
Has anyone done this?  Any suggestions.
