I recently had that most frustrating of problems...a win2000
configuration file corruption without having a backup....(Will I never
learn?)
Anyway, I have re-installed Visual Studio .net but I am having a

I am unable to install NET Framework on one of our
production PCs.  It is a Windows 2000 machine which had
SP3 on it but after several install attempts we upped it
to SP4 hopping that would help with no luck.  The error

Service deployment setup to the target computer.  What does this mean and
