I just purchased the book Microsoft Visual Basic.NET step
by step author Michael Halvorson pay $128.00
Installed the MSDN Library successfully, however the
VB.NET IDE environment is no where to be found, the book

trying to develop my first deployment project with VS.NET on a XP pro box, I get such an error message
"ERROR: "D:\Programmi\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET\Common7\Tools\Deployment\.\MsiRedist\InstMsiW.Exe". not found - 'Class not registered.'" though the mentioned files does exist!

I have a 40gb, 1gb ram, P4 Compaq machine. I have windows
2000 with service pack 4 installed on it. When I use
visual studio .net it hangs most of the time while
opening/running even a windows project.

I have a Vb.net web project whose install class I am overriding during the
setup process.
It worked before, now all of a sudden, I get this error.  I have do have
launch conditions, but they have worked spectacularly without error before.

I've just installed VS .Net 2003 Enterprise Architect on a XP Pro machine.
Everytime I try to create a project in whatever language I get the message
Automation Server can't create object.

I first tried to install VS.NET on Win2K on my machine and

I've installed IIS and every other component the machine
has on Win2K but I don't understand what's going on.  Any
