I used to have VS2003 and SouceSafe 6.0 installed on my machine (Win XP

Today, I upgraded my VS to VS 2005 first (uninstalled VS2003 first but
kept SourceSafe 6.0) and then installed SourceSafe 2005. But under "File"

We have developed over 1000 ASPs using Interdev (Visual Studio 6) DTCs
(Design Time Controls).
Can we maintain them with Visual Studio .NET 2002 (or 2003 or 2005)?
If so how?
Databases and SmartPhones26 Aug 2006 16:37 GMT1
I have several Windows Mobile applications that were written in CASL and
work just fine on PDA's. Recently, I have had several potential customers
notify me that the applications do not install properly or run on some of
the Windows Mobile SmartPhones.

I used to have a tooltip-like box permanently stationed at the bottom of
the properties pane in the visual designer. I assume I inadvertantly
dismissed it. How do I bring it back?

What language should I focus on next?25 Aug 2006 15:54 GMT1
I've been using VB6 and VB.NET for 3-4 years now. I think it's time to
expand my knowledge base. I'm wondering what language should study next C# or
C++.  My focus is on creating graphics and display software (not 3D stuff
yet). I'm leaning toward C++ because I think it'd be ...
CDialogBar Window Cannot Be Resized While Floating25 Aug 2006 14:50 GMT1
I have a CDialogBar window that docks on the edges of the Main Frame just as
it is supposed to. But I can resize it only when it is docked and not when
it floats. I noticed that when it floats the  CDialogBar window does not
move with the Main Frame. In fact I can move the Main ...

VS.NET 2005 - no web projects25 Aug 2006 03:29 GMT4
I have installed Visual Studio .NET 2005 on a Win2003 R2 server.
But when I start it up, I don't get the option of "create web" or
"open web" - I only get "create project" and "open project".
The splashscreen at the startup says that I have installed Visual Web
Adding multiple projects to a solution in VS 200524 Aug 2006 22:44 GMT1
This seems like a stupid question but I have been trying for an hour to
add a second project to my VS 2005 Solution.  This was never a problem
for me in the old 2003 Studio.  The 2005 help says to click on the
"solution" node in the solution explorer but I do not have a solution
How to get rid of 'Do you want to upgrade' spash screen?24 Aug 2006 19:37 GMT2
I'm a subscriber to MSDN and installed 2005 beta. When MSDN sent the 2005
installation disk, I installed it. However, the system seems to think that
I'm still running the Beta because it is displayed that beta splash screen
that says that my trial period is coming to an end and I ...
