If  anyone is interested, there is a way to enter a console, studio.net
console or directx console context in a specific folder by right clicking on
any folder in MyComputer.

I'm using login controls. sure they work fine. but I cant use LoginName
contol as a string. all I want is, make my users upload files to directories
with their names. cant I do it with these controls?

Some time ago, the company upgraded to McAfee ViruScan v8.0.0.
Since then the visual studio has slowed down to unacceptable performance

Where has the functionality to manage SQL Server stored procedures in Visual
SourceSafe by using Visual Studio .NET gone? In VS 2003 this is enabled by

I just got a new machine at work.  My old machine has VS 2003 and I connect
to various SQL Servers running 2000 SP3a.  The SQL Server 2000 MSDE on that
machine is SP3a also.
My new machine has VS 2003 however the SQL Server MSDE on this machine has

it was slow before but now it takes forever to open and compile. Last was
over 20 min, page switching is like i have a p90 or something.
I had a crash and it got very bad after this. Other systems work fine.

I am looking at purchasing a new PC. Most are coming with the Windows XP
Media Edition OS. Will Visual Studio 2005 Pro be compatible with this OS? The

Folks,
I recently installed VS 2005 Pro on a clean WinXP SP2 machine. I took over
an ASP.NET 2.0 project which involves Crystal Reports. I can see the reports
(*.rpt) files in my solution and I can open and design the reports inside

I want 2 run a bat file of some selected files of the project in the
custom build step..
can any one help me in doing this???
