I have a C program whose behavior changes depending on what environment variables are set. I'd like to run a debugging session with some environment variables set, but I don't want to set them globally on the machine. How do I do this?

My copy of Visual Studio .NET 2002 became corrupted. Repair didn't work so I tried remove and reinstall via the Start menu. Removal seemed to proceed normally but when I tried to reinstall I got: "A failed installation has been detected. Press OK to uninstall the product.

I'm porting existing v6 projects to .NET. There are over 60 projects, and they are currently built using a batch file which uses "msdev". I have tried using msdev to build the .NET projects, but it doesn't work.

Just installed VS 2003 on Windows XP Pro SP1, along with IIS 5.1 and .NET 1.1. In the IIS manager I created a new virtual directory with alias JokePoint and path c:\web sites\JokePoint (following the instrucions in a book).
