For all the progress MS has made here, there are missing usability features, some of which Borland had in '96. These are supposed to be power tools, and should reduce mouse clicks when possible to save our hands.

Just wanted to know is there are a way to create set up with multiple profiles . Like full, minimum, custom. And is there a way to set Product registration key. I see the dialog but I don't see a way to set Product registration key.

newbie question: Is it possible to output messages to the IDE output window while an application is running? Let's say everytime I encounter a file that is a certain size I want to have the IDE output window show something like "INFO: File <fileName> is the correct size"

I am new with VS NET (VB). In Visual Studio 6 VB I could make changes while running and debugging the code. Is this not possible in VS NET? Or is there some flag I have to set? Thanks in advance
