Can i support code applications written in VS 2002 (

For all the progress MS has made here, there are missing
usability features, some of which Borland had in '96.
These are supposed to be power tools, and should reduce
mouse clicks when possible to save our hands.

I've been trying to follow the directions to add my
Visual Studio .NET C++ solution to Source Control. The
Source Control option comes up under the File menu, but
all of the options under Source Control are greyed-out.

newbie question:  Is it possible to output messages to the IDE output window
while an application is running?  Let's say everytime I encounter a file
that is a certain size I want to have the IDE output window show something
like "INFO: File <fileName> is the correct size"

I have a web application built on framework 1.0 and I
installed framework 1.1 and vs.net 2003.
I want to convert this application to framework 1.1. when
I open the app with vs.net it gives a prompt to convert

We have a VB.NET 2002 desktop client application with a local app config
file, in the runtime folder.  Everything worked fine with VS2002, but VS
2003 deletes the app config file every time you want to debug the project in
VS2003.  You can even run the .exe, built with VS 2003 ...

I am new with VS NET (VB). In Visual Studio 6 VB I could make changes while
running and debugging the code. Is this not possible in VS NET? Or is there

Does anyone know how to invoke what's this help for
sizable dialgos that won't display the HelpButton?  In
other words, how do you put the active form into "What's
this Help" mode via code.

I currently am having issues with Visual Studio 2003 .NET running a c++
application (or any type of application for that matter).
First issue is that Visual Studio takes quite a while to start up. It sits
there for quite some time. When I debug the application I get the following
