friend i am working in vb.net application while debugging i got an error massage
    'VB6.FixedLengthString' is not defined....
i had imported name spaces
                                   microsoft.visualbasic...& System.Runtime.InteropServices
type initializer threw an exception02 Jan 2008 05:28 GMT1
I have just converted an application to VS2005.  It was previously
converted
from VB6 to VS2003 and has many global variables. The application
works
