I must communicate my PDA with a device via serial communication. The
device brings a cable ready for that, and in order to provide a seriaI
port to my PDA, I bought this cable:

I'm sure this is a very simple question - however, something is not quite
right - so here I post.

I have an eVC DLL that I call from C#. I want to pass a C# string to the dll
and then copy that string's data into a char buffer as shown below.
I tried a different method (from my last post) but something is still
