Hi,

I have a solution that includes a deployment project. The solution also
contains a database file (access). Now I'd like to exclude the database and
only deploy an updated version of the other file, so far so good. Hence, all
the old files, except the database, should be written over and replaced by
the new ones. How do I set this up in the deployment project properties? All
I get when I try to install the new update project is a warning that a
version of the software already is installed and that I have to remove the
old one, and by doing that I also remove the old database which I'd like to
keep...

I hope someone could give me a couple of hint or a link to an article.

Thanks in advance!

Richard

Here are some links that could help:

http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/deployment/deployment_1.asp
http://www.codeproject.com/dotnet/#Deployment

Let me know if you need more help in that issue.
