Is it possible to display a control in full screen mode so that id hides the
entire desktop. I want to be able to do some image viewing and allow the
user to view just the image on screen with no task bar or other controls
obstructing viewing.

Thanks

Yes, it is possible but there's a catch. For some reason unknown to me, if
your window has a caption bar, maximizing the window with the usual Maximize
function will not cover the taskbar area. You'll have to resize it manually
to full screen and keep a state flag to keep track of this full screen
status.
