I'm using vb.net 2003.  i have a windows form with a drop down list box.  If
i click on a "row" in the drop down, it finds the data and all is well.  the
problem is, the data is not displaying on the drop down. it's there, but not
displaying.  if i run it from vb.net, in debugger mode, it shows up.  when i
compile to release and run the exe, it does not show up.  at one time i found
a patch for this.  it was a dll that needed to be replaced.  my box blew up
on my last week and I've can't find that patch to fix this.  Can someone
please point me in the right direction.
Thanks

I once had a situation where all the messageboxes where emty, no test, no
title, no text on the buttons, ... and it was solved by installing a patch
for McAfee Antivirus.

I don't remember if comboboxes where affected too.
