Good theory, and similar to the theory that "C#" stands for
C++
++ .
"asp" stands for "active server page".
"ash" stands for "active server handler".
"asc" stands for "active server control".
I assume that the "x" has simply been added to make visible that .NET is
used, which is a bad choice by the way (hide implementation details!).
